Prayer for August 30, 2021

Ever present God, be with our world, our country, our state and town. May we look to how we can support and protect one another.  Let us be welcoming of strangers and caring for those who are struggling right now.  We live in a world where there is too much hatred and violence.  May we work to find ways to put and end to those things.  We ask that you be with all who are in harms way and those who are mourning the loss of life from violence, war and disease.  Let us celebrate each and every day that you give us and the gift of the people with whom we interact.  Amen
