Prayer for September 11, 2022

We remember, O God, the victims of 9-11 and all who have been victims of terrorism. Help us to remember how we treated one another in the days following that terrible day, that we may find ways to be more caring toward one each other. May we also remember all who we have lost in the fight to stop those attacks from happening again. May we stand up against those who would promulgate hatred in all its many forms. Give us the strength to call out those who use language designed to incite violence and division toward people who simply want to live their lives. May we show what true love for one another can do to make this world better. Amen
