Prayer for November 12, 2023

We never know when we will be called to act, O God. We celebrate those who prepare every day to protect and serve others many knowing that they may make the ultimate sacrifice. We remember, especially, those who served in our Armed Forces. May we look to those who served in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Space Force as examples of what it is to prepare and stand ready when called. As we look to the bridesmaids awaiting the bridegrooms return may, give us the wherewithal to be prepared and ready to respond to the needs of those around us. Protect us all when we step out in faith; and help us to know the paths we take may be perilous, but we never walk them alone. All this we ask from you, O God, our strength, redeemer and guide. Amen
