Prayer for January 5, 2024

Creating God, I often read what has happened on a certain day like today throughout history. It is amazing to think that something great has happened on almost any given day. Thank you for this day that has seen many wonderful and some scary things happen. May this day be filled with opportunities to change history with how we treat one another. May we look to a day like this that has had the first woman governor in the USA in 1925 and also seen some terrible battles as well and decide that we want to make it a good day for all whom we encounter. Guide us with your spirit now and always. Amen.
