Prayer for January 9, 2024

In this ever-changing world, help us to see the wonder of the created world and the tenacity of your creation, O God. Let us step back from the rat race and appreciate beauty of surrounding us. From the warm colors of the sunrise to the sound of snowfall, and the songs of nature may we use them to help us remain grounded. Without your creation we have nothing. Let us remember that while technology has made our lives more comfortable and things more convenient, it is those things that come from your creation that feed us, provide us with resources and gives us the seasons that make even the most simple advancement possible. May we be grateful for all you provide, Loving God. Amen
