Prayer for July 27, 2025

Teach us to pray, O God. It seems such a simple request, but it is also complicated by how the world influences our desires versus our needs.  May we seek to ask for those things that we truly need and focus our other prayers on others who have more need than we.  Let us know that in order forgive we must be willing to forgive ourselves and others.  Keep us mindful of what is happening around us and ready to reach out in love for our neighbors.  Let us glory in the beauty of your creation and the love you have for us.  We know that there will be challenges before us, so make us ready to face them and ready to ask for help.  Guides us through those times and lead us to your heavenly kingdom.  Amen
