Prayer for July 28, 2025

There are times, O God, when we are asked to wait when we most want to get things going.  Help us to have patience when we have no control over when we are to have answers or get to see the person we are scheduled to see.  May our frustration with the tardiness of others not push us into rudeness.  May we not take out our anxiety on those who also have no control.  Let us instead see those times when we are waiting as opportunities to ponder things to which we have given little thought, but need our attention.  Let us know that each moment is a gift and sometimes unexpected down time is exactly what we need.  May your presence be with us now and always.  Amen
