On this day in 1971, the Lunar Roving Vehicle was first used to explore the moon. That era was one where our imaginations soared.
You created us to be creative and inquisitive, O God of all creation. May we always seek to learn new things, explore new places and imagine the possibilities. Let us use the many gifts you have given us to find we ways to know your created world and the wider cosmos. Let us use our knowledge and experience to continue to explore and find new worlds and places we have yet to examine on our own planet. Help us to make our dreams realities and may we have epiphanies that let us see the world in new ways. All this we ask in the name of a God who creates redeems and sanctifies. Amen.
