Prayer for August 19, 2025

I love the first few days of a new school year, O God.  Be with the teachers and parents as they get the youngest of our students used to the pattern of school. May those children who are scared of the change of being at school instead of home find comfort from their teachers and aids.  May all of us who have the gift of helping form children be energized by the wonder that we see in their eyes.  Let us celebrate and honor our gifts as educators.  May your spirit guide us each and every day.  Amen
