Prayer for August 23, 2025

Loving God, may we make the most of the day that is ahead of us.  Let us be open new things and ideas.  Help us to listen more than we speak.  May we be welcoming to those we meet today.  Give us an awareness of the needs of those around us and the wherewithal to help.  Let us be willing to simply be present to people who just need to be in community this and every day.  Amen
