Prayer for August 27, 2025

Be with us this day O Lord as we seek to do your will.  May we stand up for those whose voices are being silenced.  Let us be clear when we speak against those who would deter us from doing your will.  Help us to be welcoming to those we encounter, treating the stranger as a friend we have yet to meet.  Give us the strength to support those who are tormented for being different and help them to know that they are beloved children of God.  May this and every day be treated as an opportunity to share your love to a broken world.  Amen
