Prayer for September 7, 2025

Help us, O God, to be willing to forgive without someone’s repentance.  The burden of our hurt is often overwhelming and continues to give us pain.  Let us find a way to release that weight and move on.  Help us when we seem to relive the pain that someone has given us, to let it go.  We know that in order for us to be forgiven you call us to forgive.  Let us truly be able to accomplish that daunting task.  Let us then walk along the pathways of our lives knowing forgiveness because we have given and not because we have received it.  May your forgiveness be all that we need.  Amen
