Prayer for October 6, 2025

We are a world in conflict, O God.  Help us to move from those things that divide us and find commonalities.  May those who are fomenting conflict turn from those paths and move toward one that lifts people up and brings them together.  May those who are negotiating in the wars around the world find a pathway to peace.  Let us look to how we rebuild those places that have been destroyed and get those who are starving and sick the aid they need.  May we see those who are different from us as beloved children of God first.  Let our love for one another be signs of our faith in you, O God of all creation.  Amen
