Prayer for October 8, 2025

May we remember you, O God, when we get busy.  Help us to look for your guidance as we race along the paths our day sets.  Let us find ways to slow down enough to let you into our lives.  Give us the courage to pull over and let the races of the day pass us by so that we can make sure we are going in the right direction.  May we learn to run with our eyes open and aware of all that surrounds us so that we can better see the opportunities that are before us. May we let ourselves be passengers who have the ability to see things that the driver cannot on occasion and let us be comfortable letting others drive for a little while.  Fill us with your spirit and guide us always.  Amen
