Prayer for October 12, 2025

Be with us, O God, as we deal with the changes in life.  We look to our parents for guidance and support for so much of our lives and see them as pillars through tough times.  They helped us learn so many things and guided us throughout our journeys to where we are now.  Help us when we become the ones who care for and become their pillars to know what to do and be for them what they were for us. Let us be as patient and firm as they were for us because it may now be our turn.  May you guide us, O God, as we become parent to our parents.  Amen
