Prayer for October 23, 2025

May we grow out of the division that seems to permeate our society. Too many people are so set in their ways or opinions that they cannot see the forest for the trees.  Help me when I am hardheaded to work to see those with whom I disagree as beloved and worthy of being heard.  May I learn from others and be willing to change my opinions when new facts or understandings may force me to reevaluate my positions.  Let us look to love as the way out of these times of conflict.  All this we ask in your name O God of all Creation.  Amen
