Mostly, I have been deliberate to begin my day in prayer and writing prayers to encourage people as they start their day. My favorite prayer in the Daily Office of the Episcopal Church is Compline.
May we take the time to celebrate the day that we have completed. Help us to see the wonderful things that happened, and also know that we had challenges that were a part of our day. May we also release enough of those challenges so that we can get enough rest to meet the next day we face. Be with those who sleep or work or wait this night, and give them your blessing this and every day. Amen
