Prayer for December 5, 2025

I am praying for those affected by the many changes that are happening in our country, O God.  For many, mostly the poor and those who don’t look Caucasian, they live in fear of the next moment.  They are worried about healthcare, food and other essential items and the cost of them.  May we find ways to support them with our compassion. Let us treat them as welcome brothers and sisters, truly beloved children of God.  Be with the people who have done everything right in their attempt to immigrate to our country that are now being affected by changes in their status through no fault of their own.  May we step back from what we are currently doing and find a better way to deal with immigration.  Let your love, O God, guide us now and always.  Amen
