Prayer for December 18, 2025

We seem to be living in a time of escalating tensions, O God.  May we find ways to step back from what seems like the brink of chaos and reset ourselves.  May we look more at what great things can happen when we work toward a loving world and try to lessen the anxiety that so many are feeling right now.  May we think about the individual people who are affected by others and our actions, and lack of action.  Help us to not see anyone as other, and treat everyone with the dignity we know they deserve.  May we speak up when others cannot, and may your Spirit guide us out of the place we are now.  Amen
