Prayer for January 9, 2026

Thank you, God, for the beauty of this new day.  Watching the world wake up is an incredible gift.  The stillness of the water as the day begins creates such a peaceful way to begin what is before us.  May we take this calm time into our hectic day. Let us use the calm to see the fast moving world more clearly.  Help us to be aware when our anxiety is growing and seek to find a balance that lets us see the world as we need to.  May your spirit guide us along our journey.  Amen
