Prayer for January 10, 2026

We are anxious and afraid, O God.  Whether it is people who are afraid of a changing world, or people who are being pointed out as objects of that change, there is real fear.  May we seek to lower the level of anxiety and look to your message of love for one another as the guide to moving forward.  May the people who are creating situations that cause fearful actions look to better tactics to achieve whatever goal they are attempting, or reevaluate whether the goal is worth the damage they are creating.  Help us to move beyond this anxious time and find a peaceful path forward.  Amen
