Prayer for January 17, 2026

I have a busy day ahead of me, O God, and I want to be fully present to what is before me.  Help me to focus, listen, and wait to respond until I have clarity.  Too often, I begin my answer before fully hearing what was said.  May I take care to focus on the people around me and what they are saying both verbally and physically.  Let me be clear in what I say, and ready to support new thoughts and ideas.  May I look back on this day and be grateful for all that was accomplished.  Amen
