Prayer for January 18, 2026

We remember today the beginning of the Post WWI peace conference, O God of Peace.  May we seek lasting peace with the many conflicts that are raging in the world and work hard to keep people from beginning new conflicts.  May the leaders of the world be satisfied with the wealth and territory they have and seek to find ways to build up our world and lift those who are in poverty out of that reality.  May we stand up for peace, welcome the strangers in our midst and seek to plant new growth in all the ways we can to make this world better.  May your spirit guide us now and always.  Amen
