Prayer for January 19, 2026

O God of all creation, help us through the time in which we find ourselves.  May those who are called superpowers recognize their responsibly to the world.  Our world is at risk because of the desires of a few people.  May their hearts be changed so that they can see the incredible opportunities that their governments have to change the world for the better and create a true peace.  While we do not have the power individually to make them change, together we can call them to a different path.  Too many are suffering at the hands of people who are not following the call to love you, O God, and to love one another.  May we be the voice crying out in the wilderness that becomes a tsunami of change.  Amen
