Prayer for January 25, 2026

O God, help us to witness to your love.  Let us look to the various ways that you have called us to love one another and treat those we fear as beloved.   May those who embrace hatred have their Saul moment and be transformed to empathetic people.  May those who are fomenting anger and violence to affect policy learn compassion. May those who treat the stranger as an enemy learn to love their neighbor.  In all, let us learn to love you and love one another as you have called us.  Amen
