Prayer for February 18, 2026 Ash Wednesday

As we begin Lent, Challenging God, may we live into what is is to experience all that is a Holy Lent.  Help us to look at our lives, the things we are doing well, and the parts of our lives that need improvement.  Let us get rid of those things that we may enjoy, but are not healthy for us.  Helps us to find new challenges that will feed us in new ways.  May we be attentive to our relationship with you, O God, and pray with you more.  Give us a better understanding of what your scripture calls us to become and make this Lent fulfilling.  Finally, may your Spirit guide us through this Holy season so that we may enjoy all that Easter provides.  Amen
