Prayer for April 9, 2026

In the quiet that seems to come in the week following Easter, help us to use that time to rest and reflect on what is next, O God.  While Lent is a time of introspection, Easter can be a time of building energy.  Help us to use this time to get ready for the work that is ahead of us as we move through the Easter season into the time beyond Pentecost.  May we use this time to find our direction and make plans for what is next.  Let us find what energizes us and work toward finding our place in the ministry of presence we find ourselves.  Give us faith to step out into challenging times and also know when it is time to do things differently.  Guide us and help us to hear you as we continue our journey.  Amen
