Prayer for April 11, 2026

The end of the day, O God, is a grateful time.  So many of my prayers are living the hope of a great day, and I find myself at the end of the day having not taken the time I normally do to pray as it begins.  Today, I am thankful for so much that happened that weren’t some special or remarkable events.  Instead, I spent time with my wife doing nothing much but simply spending time together.  Thank you, God, for the time we take to be present to those we love.  May we cherish those times and make them important for our daily lives.  Guide us now and always.  Amen
