Prayer for February 22, 2021

O Lord God, creator of humanity, help us to comfort one another.  There are so many among us that are carrying burdens that they are afraid to share.  Help them ask for and receive the help they need.  May we give without expectations.  Because we do not know everyone’s story, may we be willing to give unconditionally to meet the needs of those whom we serve.  Let us focus not on what those who receive our gifts do, and instead be excited about our opportunity to give.  May we be more willing to forgive than condemn.  Thank you for all you have given us, and for the chance to affect other people’s lives.  May your blessings spread by how we respond to the needs of others. Amen.
