Prayer for April 6, 2021

O Lord our God, help us recharge our batteries as we recover from the hard work of Holy Week.  Let us take the time to rest.  Allow us the freedom to say no when we need to, and to fully take the time off we have earned.  Help our families who support us to know that we love them and are grateful for the support they give us in our vocations.  Thank all the volunteers that have worked so hard to make Holy Week and Easter special. As we continue to face what is hopefully the end of this pandemic, let us be firm in our commitment to follow the advice of experts so that we might be able to celebrate Pentecost in a more normal way.  All this we ask in the name of the God who renews us.  Amen
