Prayer for April 9, 2021

Compassionate God, as we become more and more free to gather in larger groups, help us to continue to care for others as we have during this pandemic.  There have been so many times that we have heard of people giving their time, talent and treasure to aid others, even strangers.  May we build upon that empathy so that we might show your love more fully.  Let us continue to be willing to sacrifice so that our neighbor might be kept safe.  Please continue to keep those people who are serving us as first line workers safe from the dangers of their vocations.  Let us celebrate the work that so many have done to bring us to a better place than we were at the height of this pandemic.  May we continue to do those things that will bring us to a more normal existence.  All this we ask in your most Holy Name.  Amen
