Prayer for April 11, 2021

Ever present God, there are so many times we pray because we need to remind ourselves that we are not alone.  This day when for so many Christians we hear the story of Thomas who needed to actually touch divinity, may we who at times feel so empty and isolated, not only feel your presence but your encouragement to follow where you would have us journey.  Let us see you in the world around us and respond with the passion that you show in the testimony of those who have gone before us.  Let us become the next story that others share of how love for you and for those we call foreigners inspired them to do so much greater than the generation before.  We are building upon a great foundation a Cathedral of Hope and Wonder that bring us closer to you O God.  May we do our part in our time. All this we ask in your Most Holy Name.  Amen.
