Prayer for April 21, 2021

O Lord our God, we are a world that still struggles with how to respond to people who look, sound or act differently.  Help us to move beyond our fears and anxieties and see others as you see them.  May we recognize people as beloved children of God, created in your image.  There is far too much hate and anger in this world.  Let us be an example of what you command us to become.  May we live into the two greatest commandments you have described upon which all other laws and prophecies are based.  May we love you and one another with all our hearts, souls, bodies and minds.  Remind us of the strength you gave us to accomplish this act of love and mercy. Amen
