Prayer for May 23, 2021

Ever-present God, on this day Christians celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.  Help us to recognize you this day and everyday.  May we feel your Spirit filling us and empowering us to do the incredible ministries you have given us.  May we listen to that small voice that comes with inviting your spirit to be a part of our lives.  May we truly become the living and loving word made alive in our actions.  Give us the guidance when we need it and the strength to act when it is our time. Allow your spirit to shine in us so much that others cannot help but have the spirit in them strengthened.  May your light provide the path when we seem lost.  All this we ask in the name of the God who fills us. Amen.
