Prayer for July 5, 2021

Grant us O God the awareness to see the needs of those around us and the wherewithal to respond to those needs.  Many of us are blessed to have more than we need and only need that little nudge to realize that giving of ourselves might give us more in return than anything we own.  Let us be ready to live into the opportunity to do “greater works than these.”  We have been placed at this time and this place with the chance to do so much for the world around us, and are often challenged to make the choice between something more than we need or responding to others in greater need.  Help us to recognize those times and respond as you would have us.  All this we ask in your most Glorious Name. Amen
