Prayer for July 24

Thank you God for the people who challenge us.  There are times when we need to be pushed in order to grow, and we definitely need to learn from those experiences. Help us to learn how to be open to your presence in those people who we struggle to understand or even like.  May we be willing to let your spirit fill us and allow our fear, anxiety or even jealousy dissipate so that we can see that person as the beloved child of God that you have placed in our lives.  May we see what makes that person special, and special to us personally.  Give us strength of character in order that we might see you in all whom we meet this day and every day.  Amen.
