Prayer for August 3, 2021

Ever present God, we thank you for the people who have formed us and are forming our young people now.  Be with the teachers, administrators, classroom aids and all who are preparing for this new year of formation.  As they deal with the challenges that are inherent to every year they educate, help them especially with the extra work they have to do during this pandemic.  May all of them feel your presence when they tire or become anxious.  May the parents and students be protected and feel the love and passion that those charged with teaching provide.  Let the excitement we have for the upcoming year be apparent to all who walk into the classrooms.  May your blessing be upon all of us.  Amen
