Friday is named after the goddess Frigga who was known as the goddess of married love.
Friday God, as we move toward the weekend, may we look to spend time with our families and those we love. Let us look to focus on caring for one another. May we go out of our way to take advantage of the limited time we have and celebrate the many gifts our families provide. May we tell the stories of those who are our family history and give the next generation an awareness of the foundation provided them by those they may have never met. May our full family, those whom we were born to and those who have become family along the way feel your blessing now and always. Amen
