Growing up, I remember the beginning of fall with finally getting to wear a sweater that was bought during the annual school shopping event.
Thank you God for the seasons you provided us. We are grateful for the anticipation of each new scene we get to experience. This one provides us with so many colors and the beginnings of moving from summer to winter. For many of us we remember putting together Homecoming floats and the innocence of early high school. May we not only remember those times but find ways to help the children of this generation step away from the technology that ages them way too soon. Help us, Loving God, to give them the many gifts that we enjoyed before the world moved so quickly. May we find the simple things in life again and cherish them. Amen
