May this day be a joyous day filled with opportunities to see the wonders of your creation, O God. Let us begin it with anticipation of good things happening. As we are faced with challenges, may we not be overwhelmed or respond in anger. Give us the patience when we need it and the empathy and compassion toward those with whom we meet today. All this we ask in the name of the God who forgives, heals, and redeems. Amen.
