Today we celebrate the life of a very good man from our church. We remember our Brother Rich Waugh, his family and friends especially this day.
Lord God, as we mourn the loss of a man that means so much to us, may we celebrate the many gifts he gave us. Allow us to honor his memory by how we live our lives. Those of us who have been formed by his kindness, compassion, service, and love are grateful for the example of how he lived his life. While this day will be filled with emotions, may we move from sadness to joy as we celebrate the Easter moment of our friend. All this we ask in the name of the God who is with us all. Amen.
