Prayer for November 21, 2021

This day, O God is a special one for my family. It is the day that my mother and my adoptive father married. I am grateful for the many gifts that marriage gave me. I gained a father whose name I would take and the benefit of a man who understood the importance of recognizing and admitting faults so that one could become a better person. The challenges that my parents dealt with in combining two sets of kids, (albeit not living in the same house other than temporarily) finding ways to help make family, and supporting all of us when each child needed it, helped form us in how we grew. May the blessings you have heaped upon our family continue this day and everyday. Amen.
