Prayer for December 14, 2021

I don’t know why, O God, that we have such an expectation of an immediate response to whatever we desire. We also struggle with the reality that we think that what we want is what we should not only expect, but deserve. Help us each and everyday have a better perspective of gifts you have given us to live the life you have set before us. Allow us the strength to ask for help when needed, and forgiveness when that is the only way we can move forward. Give us the patience and recognition of the times when we are called to certain actions. This and everyday we ask for your blessings, peace and the opportunity to celebrate your glorious presence. Amen
