Prayer for January 4, 2022

Healing God, help us this year to be relieved from the viruses that have plagued us over the past few years. May COVID no longer spread the way it has and may our immunities to it grow. Let us be healed from the cancer of doubt which seems to keep us from trusting the intention of those who are working hard to keep us safe and well. We ask that you keep the frontline people who have been dealing with the stresses of the past couple years safe, and give them the relief and support they need to respond to the long-term effects of serving people during a pandemic. May we turn to you, O God, as we looked to be made whole again. Let your Holy Spirit guide us as we journey this and everyday. Amen
