Prayer for January 6, 2022

On this day of Epiphany, may we be acutely aware of all that is before us. When we encounter others may we give them our full attention because in our interactions this day you are giving us an opportunity to be guided to understand more fully your plan for us. May we listen until the end of the sentence. Let us be comfortable enough to ask for clarification when we don’t fully understand. Allow us to be patient when we become anxious. Your Holy Spirit is with us always and we only need to be open to the possibilities that are before us and respond by following the instincts that your Spirit provides. All this we ask in the name of the Holy Trinity. Amen
