Prayer for January 12, 2022

So often, Ever Present God, you speak to me in the moment, and I respond with, “I will do it in a minute, or I will get to it.” Help me to respond quickly because sometimes the need, or the call is meant to be a right away action. So often we miss what is right in front of us because we are too distracted by other things. Give us an awareness of what you would have us do and the drive to follow through with your call. May we understand the difference between our desires and your call to action. May you bless us in our good and bad decisions. Amen
