Prayer for January 19, 2022

O God of Grace and Glory, help us to be the people you have called us to become. Let us see when our actions affect others and guide us as we navigate the challenges of our day. Help us to find the direction we need when we are struggling. May we ask for help without shame, knowing that we were designed by you O God to be in community and supportive of one another. Give us the strength to stand up for the downtrodden and we ask among us. May we be willing to give up on material and occupational dreams when achieving them forces us to not act in a way that follows who you would have us be. Let us be thankful for all that you have given us and desire only to follow the path you have set before us. All this we ask in your most Holy Name. Amen.
