Prayer for February 3, 2022

Thank you, loving God, for the guides you have placed along the pathway of our lives. In the beginning they were our parents who helped us learn to walk and talk. The gift of love they gave helped form us. As we got older the teachers and coaches who encouraged us to become better and better were the mentors we needed at the time. Then came the time for us to begin our careers, the experience that the people who have followed the path of our passions before us shared with us equipped us to start our chosen vocation with far more knowledge than those who have gone before. Now, help us to become the guides of the generations who will follow us. May your spirit fill us and help us to become the saints of our generation. Amen
