May we be ready for what this day has to offer, O God. Fridays are often filled with anticipation for the weekend, and it is easy for us to miss what is happening around us. Help us to be aware of the people and the events that are going on today. May we see the needs of others and respond using the many gifts you have given us. Allow us to be the heart and hands of your love this and every day. May we be open to the love that others who your place in our path have for us. May we live this day filled with your spirit, Loving God. Amen.
