Prayer for March 17, 2022

Help us O God, to find time in our lives for retrospection. May we recognize as well when we need to step away and let the myriad challenges of our lives be in stasis for a while allowing us to recharge our batteries and to perhaps see those challenges from a more rested perspective. Help us to know that many of the expectations we heap upon ourselves are self-described. There are many things that we are facing that we would more easily address if we are rested and not feeling overwhelmed. May we take time during our day to rest and reflect, knowing that your guidance often comes in those times. May you bless us this and everyday. Amen
